Meet the Board
We are thrilled to introduce Reproductive Autonomy’s inaugural Board of Directors!
Bria Mirante
Bria Mirante is the founder of MiraHealth Communications, a public health communications consulting firm specializing in equity-centered strategy, behavior change, and health messaging that moves people to action. Bria brings deep expertise in translating complex health information into creative, compelling communications. Her work spans communication strategy, brand messaging architecture, audience research, and editorial standards, with a consistent focus on reaching underserved communities with clarity and care. A committed advocate for reproductive health, rights, and justice, Bria completed the Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington Developing Leaders Program in 2020 and returned the following year as a core team leader, reflecting her ongoing commitment to building the next generation of reproductive health advocates. She joins the Reproductive Autonomy board with both the strategic depth and the personal conviction this work demands.
Margaret
Margaret LaHood-Emmerson (she/they) is a therapist, program manager, and consultant with over a decade of experience working at the intersection of mental health and justice. As a therapist and program manager at JustUs Therapy and Practice, an organization grounded in anti-racist and justice-oriented approaches, she provides direct clinical care to individuals, couples, and groups across Texas. Outside of direct practice, she works as a consultant alongside firms serving mission-driven organizations striving to advance equity and anti-racist practice, with specialized expertise in supporting white and white-passing leaders in developing the self-awareness needed for more just leadership. She is honored to join the board of Reproductive Autonomy, driven by a deep belief that reproductive decision-making is a fundamental human right that belongs to individuals, not governments, and that women, transgender, and non-binary people deserve full agency and access to safe, reliable care.

Vix Gnandt
Vix Gnandt is an HR and Talent leader with a decade of experience building functions from scratch at startups and scaling them at enterprise organizations. She holds a J.D. and a B.S. in Psychology, and brings a systems-oriented, people-first approach to every organization she touches. Outside of work, Vix served as National Board Member at EcoWomen, a recipe tester for America's Test Kitchen, and a proud Ravenclaw. She joined the Reproductive Autonomy board because she believes that access to accurate, unbiased reproductive health information is a human right, and that the people most affected by its absence deserve better than what currently exists.
